Useful tips to overcome excessive hair fall or baldness

The first thing that any person looking at you spots is your face and more importantly, the hair style you have. So, it becomes imperative that a person has a good-looking healthy hair that naturally enhances your appearance to the outside world and also enhances your confidence level.

Hair fall is a common phenomenon among people who have hair above their head. It is normal that a little amount of hair falls out from the head on a daily basis, either while combing hair or while shampooing it during a shower, and as such is not a cause of concern that needs attention. In fact, a little bit of hair fall, on a daily basis, is required for the hair to grow. But the problem arises when the hair, on a daily basis, falls more than the normal. This excessive hair fall or loss of hair leads to something like hairless head or baldness, as it is otherwise called.

What might be the causes for baldness? And how to counter or eliminate this excessive hair fall?

The other reasons cited for baldness include excessive dandruff in the hair, hormonal changes, excessive stress, age, and to some extent deficiency in nutrition or improper nutrition. It has been found that proper nutrition helps in postponing hair fall and keeping your hair healthy. Lack of iron in the body, which leads to anemia, has been cited as one of the reasons for hair loss, especially among women, who need more iron to compensate for loss of blood in menstrual cycles.

What can be done to halt the hair fall and have good-looking healthy hair for a long time?

One can resort to any of the many remedial measures that can be tried, without resorting to the doctor or other means. Some of them are suggested are discussed in this article.

Massaging the scalp with the yolk of an uncooked egg and leaving it at the hair for an hour before washing the hair is one way to eliminate this hair loss. Repeat this process for at least 3 or 4 times a week and you will find that hair fall has reduced considerably.

Fenugreek seeds can be of use in combating hair loss. Take a small amount of fenugrook seeds and soak it in water for some time. Then apply the wet fenugrook seeks on to your scalp and massage it gently. Cover the hair, after massaging, with a cloth and leave it for about 3 or 4 hours. Following this procedure for about 4 to 5 weeks will ensure that the amount of hair you other wise lose would have considerably reduced.

Applying olive oil to the hair frequently or using coconut milk to massage the scalp and the roots of the hair can also provide effective results and reduce hair fall.
