The 27 Club

Never heard of this club? Well it’s time you did… The 27 club isn’t actually a club but more of a popular cult name for famous people who died, when they were 27 years old, you would be surprised at the amount of people.

Kurt Cobain, the famous guitarist, singer and songwriter of the legendary band Nirvana. Fans from around the world attended his funeral. His death was ruled a suicide by shotgun but there are many theories to suggest otherwise.

Jim Morrison, the lead singer of the band The Doors. He was considered the most energetic person on stage when he performed. He died of heart rate failure. But one of his mates at the time said he had ingested cocaine accidentally and already had an overdose, but no autopsy was performed so that all remains a mystery.

Jimi Hendrix, his death’s weirdness just might  surpass all. The actual story is, that he choked on his own vomit which was due to sleeping pills of his girlfriend. His girlfriend committed suicide after being blame on by many.

Joseph Merrick, ?…the elephant man, does that ring a bell? The man was deformed at the age of 3, and later really become a disgusting figure. He became a respectable entertainer for the king and queen, but his physical issues led to his death. While sleeping he broke his neck and suffocated.

Andres Escobar, his death has been very sad for the fans of Columbia National Soccer Team. Many extremist fans blamed him for Columbia’s loss in the world cup, the own goal he scored would ultimately lead him to his death.

  1. Debbie Weems’ was an American actress, singer, and stage performer. She may be best remembered for her recurring roles on Captain Kangaroo (1973-1975)

    In 1976 Debbie Weems put out an album called “Debbie Weems Sings Songs From Captain Kangaroo.”

    On February. 22, 1978 Debbie Weems left a treatment facility. That day it is reported that she fell from the 16th floor of that high building. Her death has been considered a suicide.

    Debbie Weems was only 27 years old when she died.
