Coolest and most amazing Google Trick

September 14th, 2008

I was checking around the net and I found this little Google Trick, and I must say its just toooooo good, you will have to try it to see, I mean you can show it to your friends, your computer teacher and I bet most of them do not know this little neat trick.

It works for other websites but I recommend using it on Google, thats where you will see the trick at its best.

Now follow the steps to check out this cool little trick.

1. Go to Google.com and Click Image

2. Fill in the search box with anything you like, in my case I had cars.

3. You will get a result page with lots of thumbnail images.

4. Now delete the address bar in my case it was

http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=cars&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi

5. Copy and paste the following code in the bar and watch the magic. The code is in a TEXT file, just select all and paste it in the address bar, “control+a to select all or edit >select all>copy

Click the LINK to get the code.

CODE

Please share your experience here, I will be adding more cool Google tricks.

Cheers.

Update -

Quite fun, if you keep re-deleting the address bar and re adding the code it gets faster and faster

@ another commenter…

This trick has nothing to do with virus, and it is 100% safe, nothing related to virus, it is just a java code that makes the image search fancy.

    @ everyone
I am extremely sorry for the server crash.
The site has went viral on multiple places and my host couldn’t handle the traffic, as per their TOS I cannot use more than 100% cpu quota..

    sigh..

    I dont get it.
    It just shows up as

Web Images Maps News Shopping Gmail more ▼

  33. Whatever
    September 17th, 2008 at 19:24 | #33

Yes people, it will work on sites other than Google. It’s just javascript, which is on basically every site, including this one. All it does is move the images.

    Also, this is pretty old…

One more thing. Stumbleupon users usually don’t like stumbling upon things other people stumbled upon.(to whoever keeps submitting this stuff to SU)

  34. Stumblerz
    September 17th, 2008 at 19:33 | #34

    @whatever

Well I will have to disagree with you from bottom of my heart with a logical sense to my disagreement.

StumbleUpon has a user base of over 5 Million.

I doubt every single person over StumbleUpon knows about this, remember one thing, assumption is a bad thing, we should not assume things.

5 Million users, is a big number.

http://www.flickr.com pictures would be a good example here, sometimes same picture gets stumbled more than 400-500 times. I have done my research and this is not BS i am adding here.

Digg.com which has a user base of almost 10x more than Stumbleupon.com if you are a member there then you should know that same stories hit frontpage all the time.

I will not argue with your fable mind. Good luck

Most of you guys are f**g r**d
1.) Javascript, not java, those are two completely different things
2.) viruses my ass, that has nothing to do with downloading anything or any type of malware
3.) WTF does a mac have to do with internet effects, seriously that one just stumps me, are you like r**d?

  36. bam

    September 17th, 2008 at 20:10 | #37

    @lol
    why are you so mad?
not everyone knows about internet like you do.
But ya this has nothing to do with MAC and I don’t know what Mac has to do with internet effects.

and thank you for telling us what is js and java that clarifies lots of things, I am noob at js n java, but i wonder if we need to know that?

Does Paris hilton know it? or does she care to know it? I doubt so lol.

this is no google trick – it has nothing to do with google. this is an old javascript, originally made as a bookmarklet. Also, it’s not java, it’s javascript. java and javascript have as much in common as cups and cupcakes.

  48. September 18th, 2008 at 03:57 | #48
